THOUSAND CHURCHES RESIDENCY

We think of our residency as a Navy Seals boot camp, and therefore we come well prepared every single day to train and download to planters in the most efficient manner possible in all areas of church life, leadership, ministry, and spiritual vitality. Typically this track is our best fit for local planters in the greater Denver area.

OUR BELIEFS: UNITY IN THE ESSENTIALS

EVANGELICAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (EPC)
Cherry Hills Community Church is an Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC). The EPC can be described as an evangelical and reformed church with greater freedom than mainline Presbyterian denominations.

ESSENTIALS OF FAITH
We believe that in the essentials of our faith we should have unity, but in all other things, charity.

DISTINCTIVES OF CHERRY HILLS COMMUNITY CHURCH
Cherry Hills Community Church is theologically conservative, holding to the inspiration and authority of Scripture. It affirms all of the spiritual gifts found in Scripture as well as women in ministry. It is our expressed desire that all our church planters would be in alignment with these beliefs.

PRIORITY RESOURCING
Cherry Hills Community Church desires to plant as many EPC churches as possible. Yet, not all church plants have to be EPC church plants. However, precedence and priority go to those church planters who have alignment with and commitment to the denomination. This precedence and priority will be seen in selection of applicants and distribution of resources.

THOUSAND CHURCHES NETWORK
We ask all of our church planters to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to Kingdom multiplication through church planting. This includes a commitment to co-plant a church with Cherry Hills in the Thousand Churches Network every three years. Co-planting involves co-selecting a church planter with Cherry Hills and Thousand Churches, contributing a total of $20,000 over two years (10K/year), and being a key trainer of that year’s Thousand Churches planters.
